Barcelona’s rash transfer decisions could be on display once again.

According to Tribuna, Barcelona have apparently listed Jean-Clair Todibo on the transfer market and PSG have set their sights on him. Todibo is one of the upcoming stars of the game with a lot of potential yet to be realised but it seems the board has got a different set of plans for the youngster.

PSG are looking for a replacement for David Silva who is set to leave the club following the expiry of his contract at the end of this season and they believe that Todibo is the man for the job. They have already groomed Mbappe into one of the best talents the game has ever seen and are probably looking to do the same with the Frenchman as well.

Todibo will find ample amount of playtime at the Parc des Princes unlike his stint at Barcelona. Even the 20-year-old believes that he deserved more playing time at Camp Nou and he himself is probably looking for a move away from the Blaugranes this summer. It is highly unlikely if the Frenchman is looking for a return to the club down the lane.

A hefty price tag of £25 million is set for the youngster and PSG shouldn’t have any problems when it comes to matching that sum. However, in recent times it has seemed like the Board has lost sight of what is important and have disregarded the team balance in the process. The transfer buys in Coutinho, Dembele and Greizmann just prove that the board is after the big-name players and aren’t giving much thought about the team balance.

They aren’t grooming the prodigy in Ansu Fati and they had a chance to make a world-class player out of Todibo; they decided to take a pass instead. The average age of the squad is at all-time high and these are testing and ominous signs for the Blaugranes. They should keep Todibo no matter what as Neymar isn’t a priority now, Martinez is.
