Barcelona coach Quique Setien’s course of action for the Champions League.

Barcelona begins their preparation for the Champions League with Quique Setien looking to fix the many issues currently hindering the squad’s performance.

The Spanish manager has retained the trust of the board to remain at Camp Nou for the remainder of the campaign with Champions League beginning in August.

The Barca hierarchy have decided to reevaluate the Spaniard’s methods based on the squad’s performance against Napoli. The two sides drew their first clash and now face each other again in tough competition at Camp Nou.

If the Catalans win, they have an even tougher opposition in, likely, Bayern Munich who have won their first round-of-16 clash against Chelsea, 3-0.

The Spanish giants must significantly improve their playstyle in order to have any chance at a trophy this season with their biggest weakness being their inconsistency. Setien only has a couple of days after the short break to ready to team for a battle in Portugal.
