Real Madrid leave Barcelona in the dust as they prepare a grand transfer

This season has been a reality check for Barcelona and its board as the club is on the verge of going trophyless. However, apart from the poor performances this season and the likelihood of going trophyless, the actual issue that has been highlighted this season at the Camp Nou has been the severe lack of depth along with a seriously aging squad.

More from Everything Barca

Lionel Messi‘s phenomenal performances this season has rescued the Catalan club from finishing in the mid-section of the table as the Argentine captain has literally carried the club on his shoulder for the entire league campaign.

Had Leo Messi not stepped up the way he has this season, Quique Setien’s men would definitely finish the league in the mid-section. However, Messi has caught up with age and rest will be a crucial factor for the captain next season to maintain his clutch form, however, Barca lacks a proper replacement for Messi after they sold Malcom.

Ousmane Dembele is the perfect replacement for Messi while rotating the squad, however, the former Dortmund man has struggled to keep fit since the day he arrived at the Camp Nou and one can only hope that he does not get injured next season.

Real Madrid on the other hand has shown a different colour this season.. The Los Blancos have conducted a successful summer revamp by signing young players to build a squad for the future and to allow Zidane to rotate the squad throughout the season to keep his main player’s in form by resting them sufficiently.

The only hope that the Blaugrana have for next season to seriously compete with Zidane’s Real was to make amends over the summer transfer market. However, Diaro GOL reports that the Los Blancos are set to sign a galactico from the Premier League this season that would create one of the most dangerous attacking line ups next season.

Adidas to play a crucial role in Real Madrid’s grand signing

Raheem Sterling of Manchester City has been tipped with a move to Real Madrid as the former Liverpool man has decided to sign a contract with Adidas. The sportswear company would push a move forward to have Sterling at the Bernabeu as Real Madrid player since Adidas is the main sponsor of the club.

Real could possibly boast an attacking lineup including the likes of Eden Hazard, Karim Benzema, and Raheem Sterling. A front three that would terrorize the entire league next season especially Barca’s weak defense.

The board at the Camp Nou must awaken and realise the fact that if changes are not made Real Madrid would walk over Barca and leave them behind as a mid-table club. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
