Martin Braithwaite (Age: 29 | Transfer Value (TransferMarkt): 9.5m euros)

Braithwaite joined Barca midseason in a dream move after Ousmane Dembele sustained a season-long injury. While showing glimpses of quality as both a winger and a striker, many believed that the Danish international could potentially play as a back-up to the attacking line-up.

His recent performances, however, have convinced the board to sell the 29-year-old while his transfer fee still has some value as they are confident in their ability to secure Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan in the next transfer window.

Philippe Coutinho (Age: 28 | Transfer Value (TransferMarkt): 56m euros)

One of the two most complicated players to sell is none other than Barca’s mega signing from Liverpool, Coutinho. The Brazilian midfielder was enjoying life with Bayern Munich but the Bundesliga giants have refused to sign him permanent for 120 million euros. The Catalans must now find a new home for the 28-year-old but his expensive transfer fee along with an equally expensive salary has pushed multiple suitors away with Premier League sides like Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle, Manchester United, and more being named as the likely destinations.

Ousmane Dembele (Age: 23 | Transfer Value (TransferMarkt): 56m euros)

The other complicated transfer of the French international who is still widely considered a must-have talent due to his previous showcase with Borussia Dortmund and Barca. The issue with Dembele is his reoccurring injury which has sidelined him for a major part of his spell at Camp Nou with the board now ready to give up on the youngster if a suitable offer arrives. Multiple European giants are interested in acquiring the youngster but again the transfer fee demanded has made the transfer complicated. Bartomeu is planning to use the World Cup winner in an exchange in order to secure a big transfer target, such as perhaps with Paris Saint-Germain for Neymar.
