Barcelona must try to sign new players over the summer transfer window if they hope to win the La Liga title in the upcoming season. As things stand Quique Setien has only been able to bring one of his transfer targets Miralem Pjanic to the Camp Nou.
Barca have been heavily linked to sign many players such as Koulido Koulibaly, Lautaro Martinez, Neymar and David Alaba over the summer transfer window and are hopeful to sign some of these players over the course of the next few weeks. There are many other rumours that suggest that the club might also try to sign other world-class players such as Jadon Sancho and Serge Gnabry but no official transfer offers have been made till now.
Quique Setien should try to sign Arsenal’s transfer targets.
The Gunners are expected to try and sign Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid to fortify their midfield in hopes to contend for a Champions League spot in the upcoming season. The Ghanaian international has an estimated market value of 40 million euros and has been one of the most consistent players for Atletico Madrid this season as he has played in 35 out 38 league games this season.
Barcelona should opt to sign Thomas Partey who seems to be heading towards a move to Arsenal. This is because the defensive midfielder can help remove the pressure off Sergio Busquets and Frenkie de Jong from being overstretched in the upcoming season. Partey could also act as a replacement for Sergio Busquets who is 32 years old and is advancing into one of his last few seasons of football before retiring.
Another player that Arsenal are hopeful to sign is Odsonne Eduard from Celtic. The 22 year old French international has had an impressive season in which he has been able to score 21 goals and provide his side with 15 assists over 27 league games. Many believe that the centre forward has great potential to grow into one of the best strikers in world over the next few years. Rumours have suggested that Mikel Arteta has listed him as a player to sign in place of Aubameyang if the world-class striker decides to leave the English side over the next few weeks.
Barcelona should sign the budding Frenchman who has an estimated market value of 20 million euros. Eduardo can act as a long term replacement for Luis Suarez if the club aren’t able to sign their primary transfer target Lautaro Martinez who plays for Inter Milan.
