Barcelona have secured a Spanish teen sensation from Las Palmas but have a critical decision to make regarding his immediate future.

More from Everything Barca

Pedri signed for the Catalans in 2019 for a mere 5 million euros transfer fee and has established himself as one of the most promising Spanish youngsters. The 17-year-old desires a similar success to that of La Masia graduate Ansu Fati at Camp Nou, but he might have to wait for a little longer.

Many are speculating whether Barca would actually immediately include Pedri with their first-team squad or look to loan him in his first season. Marca reports that the youngster has serious interest coming from Germany.

Not only Borussia Monchengladbach but the current Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich, are also heavily considering giving the teen a loan opportunity. Both the sides have officially placed an inquiry and Barca are considering the two proposals but hope to keep him at Camp Nou for the next season.

It is understood that the youngster will be given the entire pre-season fixtures to showcase his talent at which point his future will be decided by the coaching staff. Barca already have many youngsters entering the scene with Ronald Araujo, Ansu Fati an Riqui Puig officially joining the first-team along with the two latest signings Matheus Fernandes and Francisco Trincao.
