Barcelona are shocked as their saviour considers a switch
Barcelona are worried as their saviour might leave this summer
Barcelona faces a serious situation in the goalkeeper’s department as both Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Neto have been linked with moves away from the Camp Nou. Ter Stegen has been the club’s best performer for several years and his consistent performances have been the very reason why the club has maintained its current standard.

However, the German goalkeeper believes that he is not valued highly by the club as his match-saving performances deserve a better paycheck. Although Ter Stegen may demand a better and improvised contract, Josep Maria Bartomeu has made it clear that it cannot be fulfilled as the club is currently trying to overcome the losses that were incurred during the lockdown in Spain.
Several reports claim that Chelsea has shown serious interest in signing the German wall from the Camp Nou this summer as Frank Lampard has no plans of using Kepa Arrizabalaga next season. The report from Metro claims that the London side are willing to meet Ter Stegen’s demands and the goalkeeper himself has reportedly considered a switch.
Josep Maria Bartomeu speaks about the Ter Stegen situation
"He understands what is happening in society and he knows that with the decrease in income at clubs like Barca, he will have to adjust his salary- Josep Maria Bartomeu on the Ter Stegen situation"
The president of Barcelona has admitted in his recent interview about the rumours of the German goalkeeper leaving Catalonia for a better contract, however, Bartomeu has stated that all players have taken a cut in their salary and Ter Stegen is no exception.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian goalkeeper, Neto, has considered leaving Barca this season after the 31-year-old player received just two starts in the Spanish League for his new side. The former Valencia man believes the way he has been treated at the club is a disgrace to his standard and achievements after being fielded just twice.
Neto has been linked with a move to the Serie A and if both the goalkeepers are to leave then the Blaugrana are going to be in serious trouble.
