Barcelona have shown desire to sign new players.

More from Everything Barca

Barcelona weren’t able to retain the La Liga title this season and finished in second place 5 points behind their rivals Real Madrid.

The Spanish giants have decided to list 12 players from their current squad who the club would like to sell over the summer transfer window in order to bring sufficient capital to the Camp Nou which could be used to finance signing of some world-class players who can help improve Barca’s performances in the upcoming season in order to contend for silverware in a more efficient manner.

Quique Setien must extend Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s contact.

The German international can be considered as one of the best goalkeepers in the world and has played a pivotal role in Barca’s success over the last few seasons helping his side win four La Liga titles along with four Copa dell Rey trophies. The keeper has also helped his side win the Champions League in the 2014-2015 season. There are many rumours that suggest clubs such as Bayern Munich and Chelsea are keen to sign the superstar who has an estimated market value of around 90 million euros over the summer transfer window.

According to the Goal, Bojan has passed a statement in which he has stated that Quique Setien must focus on extending Ter Stegen’s contact to keep him at the Camp Nou as he’s been providing the club with brilliant performances for his team over the past few seasons. If Marc Andre ter Stegen was to leave the club it would create a void which the Spanish side won’t be able to fill with ease.

Despite having a limited transfer budget the club should try and extend the German internationals contact over the next few weeks with reports that suggest that Quique Setien might offer the player a contract which keeps him at the club for 5 more years.
