IVAN RAKITIC AND MARTIN BRAITHWAITE

It is rumoured that both the European footballers, Ivan Rakitic and Martin Braithwaite will be sold at the end of the season. Rakitic has been linked with a move to the Premier League and Serie A, however, the Croatian’s heart remains at Sevilla where he rose to prominence.

Ivan Rakitic might be sold for just 10-15 million euros to Sevilla as the club has signed Miralem Pjanic from Juventus who plays the same position as the Croatian. Pjanic will be the first-choice central midfielder next season for Quique Setien, which means that there is no room for Rakitic.

Martin Braithwaite is in the same boat as Barcelona and is eager on signing either Lautaro Martinez or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this season. The possible arrival of any of the two strikers would rule out all possible chances for Braithwaite to play. The Danish footballer has been linked with West Ham who is eager on making the most of the player and are willing to offer 10 million euros.
