Barcelona have decided against extending contracts for Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal and have decide to list the duo on the summer transfer window. This move seems to be established as Quique Setien has hinted that he is keen to be inclined towards establishing a younger squad over the course of the next few seasons.
The Catalan giants must try to bring midfielders to the Camp Nou who can help replace the experienced duo who have been exceptional for their side over the last few seasons. Even though no official offers have been made till now rumors suggest that the Spanish giants might try to sign many young midfielder’s over the summer transfer window.
PSG and Villarreal have shown interest to sign Barca’s transfer target.
Rumors suggest that 21-year-old French international Matteo Guendouzi who is heavily linked with a move to Barca has received interest from PSG and Villarreal. The Gunner has an estimated market value of 35 million euros and is desperate for a change as Mikel Arteta has issues with the young midfielder’s attitude and has no intention to include him in any future matches played by the English side.
Many reports suggest that Arsenal have are expected to accept a deal of around 30 million euros over this transfer window to sell their young midfielder. However, other reports suggest that Guendouzi might leave the English club on a season long loan deal with an attached buyout clause similar to the one that Philippe Coutinho has established with Bayern Munich this season.
Quique Setien could try and offer Arsenal a swap deal and include players such as Ivan Rakitic and Philippe Coutinho to increases their chances to sign the budding Frenchman over the summer transfer window.
