Barcelona have listed many of their players on the summer transfer window.
More from Everything Barca
After the 8-2 loss to Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League reports have emerged that suggest that the Catalan giants have decided to sell most of their players over the summer transfer window. However, as things stand no offers have been made for any of the players till now. This is because most of the club’s across Europe have an limited transfer budget over the summer transfer window caused by the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
The Spanish giants must focus on signing some young midfielders who can help improve the performance of the squad in the upcoming season in order to contend for silverware in a more promising manner as compared to this season.
Barcelona should try to sign Houssem Aouar.
The 22 year old French international has been in great form and has played an integral role in helping his side Lyon qualify for the semi-finals of the Champions League in which the club is set to meet Bayern Munich over the next few days. He has an estimated market value of 50 million euros and is heavily linked with a move to Manchester City and Arsenal. Aouar has a contract which keeps in France till 2023 and many rumours suggest that the player might be interested to play in a club which compete for silverware on a more regular basis.
In order to sign the Frenchman with the club’s limited transfer budget Barca should try to establish a loan deal with an attached buyout clause or alternatively try to offer Lyon players such as Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic in a swap deal.
Do you think Barcelona should sign Houssem Aouar?
