Barcelona willing to go out of their way to land Neymar to the Camp Nou.
Barcelona have to act soon in the transfer market in order to pull their socks up for next season, which starts in four weeks from now. Josep Maria Bartomeu, most importantly has to make a statement or two in order to protect his job for the near future and making good signings could be a way of doing that.

Given Barca’s most recent Champions League debacle, the board has to break the bank in order to sign a few players here and there after an ageing and unambitious lot has cost them dear this season. Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar continues to be their primary target and Bartomeu is finally ready to offer a reasonable deal for the Brazilian, Diario GOL claims.
Antoine Griezmann will be offered to the Parisians in a swap deal, following a pathetic season at the Camp Nou for the former Atletico Madrid marksman. The France international seems to be an outcast even after a 120 million euro move and a switch of pastures just one year since signing was never on the cards, but looks like the right thing to do.
PSG, who made their way to the Champions League Final, are expected to demand 150 million euros for Neymar’s services and in all likelihood, there will not be a single penny’s discount due to the coronavirus pandemic. If anything, Neymar’s stock will only rise since he is now happy at the Parc des Princes and is proving instrumental.
In addition to sacrificing Griezmann, the Blaugrana are ready to offer an excess of 60 million euros for the left winger. Even though Neymar is now feeling settled in the Ligue 1, there’s a glimmer of hope that he will be open to moving to Barcelona, especially with the prospect of reuniting with Lionel Messi still on the cards.
Neymar’s personal demands and wages in general could be a massive issue given that he will demand a pay close to the world’s highest. Something such may be beyond the Catalans, and even generally speaking, their situation and other targets they may pursue put the Brazil international’s arrival in a lot of doubt.
Do you think Neymar will arrive at Barcelona during the upcoming summer transfer window?
