Reports have suggested that many players have been listed to be sold from Barcelona over the summer transfer window in order to establish a more efficient squad which will be more effective in the upcoming season.
The Catalan giants had listed many of their players such as Ousmane Dembele, Philippe Coutinho, Ivan Rakitic, Arturo Vidal, Junior Firpo and Samuel Umtiti on the summer transfer window in order to attain sufficient funds to sign the clubs transfer targets. Even though these players were listed with moves away from the Camp Nou Ronald Koeman has been appointed as the new manager and he has the ability to choose and retain some of these players rather than selling them over the transfer window.
Philippe Coutinho might end up staying in Barcelona.
Philippe Coutinho will return back to the Camp Nou after the end of his Champions League campaign with Bayern Munich where he was sent on a season long loan deal for the 2019-2020 season. In his loan spell he has been able to score 11 goals in 36 games across all competitions and has gathered interest from many clubs such as Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal who would like to sign the Brazilian in upcoming season.
Bartemou has stated that the future of Phillippe Coutinho lies in the hands of Ronald Komen as stated by the Mirror. However, there are many rumours that suggest the new manager might want to bring Donny van de Beek to Barca which might result in the Brazilian superstar being sold from the club over the summer transfer window.
Do you think Barca should sell Philippe Coutinho?
