Barcelona have finished second in the 2018-2019 La Liga season.

More from Everything Barca

Even though Barcelona were able to score the most amount of goals in the 2018-2019 La Liga season the Catalan giants failed to win the La Liga title this season and have finished second, 5 points behind their rivals Real Madrid. Many believe this is because of the inability of midfielders and defenders to defend efficiently. Barca have conceded 38 goals in 38 La Liga matches this season.

The Spanish giants are expected to try and sign players such as Eduardo Camavinga, Fabian Ruiz, Georginio Wijnaldum and Donny van de Beek to replace the experienced duo of Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic who are expected to be sold over the summer transfer window to help contend for silverware in a more efficient manner.

Eduardo Camavinga has passed a statement about his future.

According to the Goal, Real Madrid and Barcelona’s transfer target Eduardo Camavinga has passed a statement in which the Frenchman who has an estimated market value of 40 million euros has stated that he has two more years in his contract with Rennes and he would be not be leaving France over the summer transfer window.

Ronald Koeman Barcelona’s new manager must use the clubs limited transfer budget to try and sign other midfielders such as Houssem Aouar and Fabian Ruiz over the summer transfer window who have added great value to their clubs over last few seasons and have a promising career ahead of them. The players will help add great value to the Camp Nou and would play a pivotal role in fortifying the club’s midfield over the course of the next few seasons.

Do you think Barca should try to sign players such as Houssem Aouar and Fabian Ruiz over the summer transfer window?
