Koeman shows no mercy and tolerance towards the nepotism at Barcelona

Ronald Koeman shows no mercy or tolerance towards the nepotism and favourtism that has prevailed at Barcelona over the years. The heavyweights of the club including the likes of Gerard Pique, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, Lionel Messi, and Jordi Alba had formed an alliance that was deemed as untouchables.

However, the former Everton boss has no tolerance towards it. Luis Suarez will not feature under the Dutchman next season and Antoine Griezmann will be the striker of the Catalan side next season. Along with Luis Suarez, Koeman has no plans for Jordi Alba as well who has been out of form for quite some time.

The Spanish left-back was once considered to be one of the world’s very best, however, with age and injuries, Jordi Alba’s form has deteriorated rapidly over the years.

Reports claim that Koeman has lined up a grand swap deal

The El Desmarque reports that Ronald Koeman is willing to offer Luis Suarez along with cash for Donny van de Beek who is valued between 40-50 million euros by Ajax Amsterdam.

The Dutchman is also willing to offer Jordi Alba in exchange for Nicolas Tagliafico. The 27-year-old Argentine left-back is eager on leaving the Netherlands and is willing to make the big jump into the elite leagues of Europe as he has entered the prime of his career.

Both the deals seem to be well planned out as Jordi Alaba is no longer in his prime and Tagliafico’s aggressive style of play is something that Barca has lacked for quite some time. Donny van de Beek’s creativity would also take off the pressure from Leo Messi to drop deep and create chances.

Next. Barcelona set to part ways with Messi and have named their price as well. dark

If Barca can strike both the deals then it would certainly improve the squad for the 2020/21 season.
