Jurgen Klopp registered history in his managerial career at Liverpool when he won the UEFA Champions League and the Premier League title in succession.
As per the Mirror, Klopp was contacted by Barcelona presidential candidate, Jordi Farre. The potential Barcelona president aims to have Klopp take over the reins at Camp Nou despite the recent appointment of Ronald Koeman this week. This season has seen Barcelona sack two of their managers; Quique Setien and Ernesto Valverde.

Klopp has evolved into one of the most successful managers in the history of the game as he looks to attain a legendary status. Having won the Bundesliga, the German Cup, Champions League and the Premier League, Klopp has got plenty of silverware in his cabinet hence it shouldn’t be surprising that Barcelona want him.
The Blaugranes are currently in a state of crisis which they technically brought upon themselves. A series of bad decisions have been made since the departure of Neymar from the club which has caused the present-day scenario. Even the transfer of Coutinho for a club-record fee (then) hasn’t sorted out their issues and has heavily backfired upon them. Their recent hammering at the hands of Bayern Munich which saw them get steamrolled by a massive margin of 8-2 unleashed a state of emergency at the club.
Quique Setien and the sporting director, Eric Abidal were sacked by Bartomeu and Messi has lost all his patience with the Catalan giants. The Argentine ace is now closer than ever to an untimely Barcelona exit because of the state of the affairs at the Camp Nou. Ronald Koeman faces a stiff challenge as he will need to build a fresh Barcelona squad and, in all probability, without Messi.
Klopp managed a Liverpool side which registered over 100 points this season in the Premier League. All this is a result of the process that the German started in 2016. He started a squad revamp which saw him earn a UCL title in the 2018-19 season and a PL title in the 2019-20 season.
While the probability of Klopp at Camp Nou looks minimal, it must be borne in mind that the 53-year-old intends to take a sabbatical from football post the expiry of his Liverpool contract, which ends in 2024. The former Dortmund manager will then decide his future in the game. He had similar intentions in 2015 too but a lucrative offer from Liverpool saw him break his sabbatical.
Liverpool fans have cemented Klopp as one of their best and this certainly comes as a huge news to them, knowing that the German is potentially the next in line to take over the reins at Camp Nou. Jurgen Klopp is currently aiming to sign Tagliafico in a bid to strengthen his backline, as he prepares for the next season.
