Manchester United show interest to sign Barcelona’s budding star

Barcelona are heading into the upcoming season with many attack minded players in their squad such as Ousmane Dembele, Philippe Coutinho, Ansu Fatti, Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, Martin Brathwaite and Antoine Griezmann. The Catalan giants must try to sell or alternatively loan some of these players before the start of the upcoming season.

Rumours have suggested that Ronald Koeman has plans to sell players such as Luis Suarez and Martin Brathwaite over the next few weeks as Barca don’t seem to have them as part of their future plans. Moreover, the Catalan giants have shown interest to sign the attacking duo of Neymar and Lautaro Martinez over the summer transfer window.

Manchester United have shown interest to sign Ansu Fati.

Manchester United have plans to spend 153 million euros to sign Ansu Fati from Barca over the summer transfer window as reported by The Sun. The Red Devils have been struggling to sign their primary transfer target Jadon Sancho and have decided to try and sign Ansu Fati as an alternative. However, as things stand the 2018-2019 La Liga champions haven’t received any offer for their young winger.

Many believe that selling Ansu Fati wouldn’t be a wise move for the Spanish club considering the fact that he is only 17 years old and that he has the potential to become an extraordinary player over the next few seasons. Barca could alternatively list the young winger on a season long loan deal only if Ronald Koeman doesn’t plan to give him regular amount of game time this season. This should be done to insure that there is no hindrance in Ansu Fati’s growth.
