Barcelona are close than ever towards signing a lethal forward
Ronald Koeman is ready to make some grand changes this summer after being appointed as the manager of Barcelona. Taking over a club of Barca’s stature is no bed of roses, however, Koeman is willing to take the risk that many other managers have failed to do so.

The former Everton coach is a thorough disciplinarian and his primary motive is to end the slack attitude that prevails at the Camp Nou’s dressing room amongst the heavyweights of the squad. In particular, Koeman does not wish to work with Luis Suarez and the Dutchman is more than happy to see out the former Liverpool striker.
Memphis Depay of Lyon and Lautaro Martinez of Inter Milan are the two names that Koeman has pushed forward. Depay is a versatile attacker and can be deployed on either wing or as a false nine as well, meanwhile, Lautaro Martinez is a clinical striker and it seems like the Argentine forward is his first priority.
90 million euros is what Barca would have to pay for Martinez
Lautaro Martinez went missing in the final of the UEFA Europa League final, however, the striker has performed admirably in the Serie A scoring 14 goals. Barca would have to pay 90 million euros to sign the player and the club are willing to load off several aged players to sign their wanted transfers.
Do you believe that Lautaro Martinez is an ideal signing? One must remember that he has performed at the highest level for just one season and there is a slight possibility of him being a one-season wonder.
