Ronald Koeman has already started his tenure as the head coach of FC Barcelona with some ruthless sackings. Luis Suarez is one of them.

As per Diario Gol, Barcelona are looking to offload Luis Suarez for Dutch midfielder, Donny Van De Beek. This comes in the aftermath of reports suggesting that Ajax are interested in securing their former player.

Luis Suarez still has years left in him, but he isn’t suited to fit into the Barcelona XI and that’s largely because of the drop in his pace. The Uruguayan has been disappointed with the treatment that he has received and claims that no one communicated with him beforehand to inform him of his sacking. Suarez doesn’t fit into Koeman’s plans and that should give us an idea of the squad under Koeman. Recent reports suggested that Ronald Koeman told Messi that his privileges in the squad are over which might have pushed the Argentine for an exit.

Donny Van De Beek is on the radar of Real Madrid as well but could well end up playing for his National Coach if this deal does go through. Suarez has admitted that a move to Netherlands looks unlikely, but one never knows. The club is in a severe need of some funds as they look to start the rebuilding process soon.

The situation at Camp Nou is that of a state of emergency. Messi has never been this close to a club exit before and the fans are staging a protest outside the office gates to demand Bartomeu’s resignation. It is believed that Bartomeu’s resignation might be the only way to stop Messi from leaving. Since taking over as the club president in 2016, Bartomeu has made some horrible decisions and the most prominent ones are selling Neymar and wasting the money gained on the likes of Coutinho and Griezmann.

The Blaugranes could well be the next AC Milan in the making as without Messi, their chances to finish in a UCL spot look slim, let alone a La Liga win. The team that they rebuild is going to need some experienced players to guide them in the right direction and Messi is the best player in the world. Bartomeu must resign immediately if the Club is to gain a fresh lease of life.
