Barcelona have many budding players who have the potential to become superstars.

More from Everything Barca

Over the last few weeks Barcelona have decided to sell many of their older players from the squad as Ronald Koeman and Bartomeu have plans to establish a younger squad over the next few seasons.

The Spanish giants have many budding players in their academy and ‘B team’ who are expected to join the main team over the next few months as the club has decided to sell many players over the summer transfer window. However, recent reports have suggested that many of the ‘B team’ and accademy players have been heavily linked to moves away from the Camp Nou.

Lucas De Vega has received interest from the Premier League.

The 20 year Brazilian international has shown phenomenal growth over the last few years and according to the Mirror he has received a lot interest from Tottenham who are working towards adding more depth to their current squad. If Lucas De Vega decides to join the English side he would join a long list of many other players such as Joe Hart, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Matt Doherty who have joined the club over the summer transfer window.

Tottenham are willing to offer around 2 million euros to sign the budding players but reports have emerged that suggest that the Catalan giants have put a price point of 3.5 million euros to sell their budding midfielder in addition to add-on fees which could add up to around 7 million euros.

Many experts are against this move as they feel Lucas De Vega has great potential and shouldn’t be sold for such a small amount of money. They have suggested that the midfielder should be loaned for a season to see how much he grows.
