Sandro Tonali has chosen to join AC Milan instead of Barcelona

Barcelona have sold Ivan Rakitic to Sevilla.

Over the summer transfer window Ivan Rakitic and Arthur Melo have left Barcelona. In addition to this pair leaving the Camp Nou there many reports that suggest that Arturo Vidal is also on the verge to join Inter Milan.

Bartomeu must invest the club’s transfer budget to sign midfielders who effectively replace the midfielders who have left and are on the verge of leaving the club.

The Spanish giants have shown interest in many players such as Sandro Tonali, Giovanni Lo Celso and Fabian Ruiz. In addition to these players, ever since Ronald Koeman was appointed the club has been heavily linked with a move to sign Georginio Wijnaldum from Liverpool.

Tonali has chosen his next club.

Even though Barca, Inter Milan and Manchester United showed great interest to sign Sandro Tonali the 20 year old maestro decided to join AC Milan over the summer transfer window.

According to the Goal, the transfer will be completed over the next few days. The player is suspected to join the Italian side on a loan deal which would cost the club around 10 million euros with an option to buy which would cost around 15 million euros.

The young Italian maestro is expected to become one of the best midfielders in the world over the next few seasons.

The Catalan giants must try to find similar players to Tonali who can help improve the squad as well as act as a long term replacement for Sergio Busquets who is 32 years old and is playing one of his last few seasons of football before he retires.
