Barcelona receive an offer for their untouchable squad member

Barcelona is set to face Elche tonight at the Camp Nou to play the final of the Joan Gamper Trophy. Ronald Koeman will be looking forward to a third consecutive win before the start of the season. However, the Dutch manager is currently focused on signing Gini Wijnaldum and Memphis Depay and to do so the club must first sell a few players.

More from Everything Barca

It has only been a few weeks since the Catalans created a list of untouchable members of the squad that cannot be sold under any circumstances.

Wolves show interest in an untouchable squad member

The list included the Portuguese right-back, Nelson Semedo. It has now been reported, that the club has received an offer for the former Benfica defender from Wolverhamtopn Wanderers of the Premier League.

Semedo’s tenure at the Camp Nou has been quite a mixed journey. The right-back is often targetted for the fans for not tracking back enough after being caught out of position. At the age of 26, having won the La Liga twice, Semedo could venture out for a new challenge in his career.

Wolves have sold their first-choice right-back Matt Doherty to Tottenham Hotspur this summer. Jose Mourinho is an avid admirer of the aggressive Irish defender. It is now believed that Nuno Espirito Santo would like his compatriot from the Camp Nou to replace Doherty.

Despite Nelson Semedo being included in the list of untouchables, Ronald Koeman is open to the idea of selling the player. The Catalans have been in contact with Hector Bellerin as a possible replacement if Semedo is to leave.

Who would you want at the Camp Nou ahead of the Portuguese right-back?
