Neymar came to Barcelona from South American side Santos back in 2013. Though he was a very prominent player even before joining the Spanish giants, the 28-year-old’s stock went on to rise by a further margin as he signed up with the Catalans. Not to mention, his relationship with Messi helped him settle in fast and deliver.

Messi’s considerate behaviour towards the then youngster tremendously helped in the morale. The Argentina gave countless assists and played a key role in shaping Neymar. Later on, the attackers went on to become very close friends and even till this point, one of the reasons why the PSG attacker wants to return is to be reunited with Messi.
