PEDRO

Pedro and Messi are the same age but the Argentine’s superior quality helped him into a first-team spot at a Barcelona four years earlier as opposed to the Spaniard, who broke through in 2008. Having said that, the former Chelsea winger went onto win the treble in his first season as a senior player and became one of Barca’s best academy products.

His link up play with Messi and the rest of the midfielders during the club’s golden age was a joy to watch. Pedro developed into one of the most decisive players for Barcelona and has publicly mentioned his gratitude to Messi. Now at AS Roma, he has had an abundance of success while at the Camp Nou as well as Chelsea.
