JORDI ALBA

Jordi Alba arrived at Barcelona as a youngster from Valencia back in 2012 and in next to no time, he went on to become one of the world’s best left backs and one of the greatest ever that has played for the club. In truth, he has not been at his best in recent years, but the duo of Alba and Messi was unstoppable for a couple of years.

His relationship on the field with the 33-year-old is incredible and their chemistry saw both players reap rewards. Alba has been backed up by the likes of Lucas Digne and Junior Firpo of late but none of the players have been able to establish as good a link-up with Messi as the Spain international has.
