Barcelona are heading towards the end of the summer transfer window and must try to sign many world-class players who can help improve the squad in the upcoming season. The Spanish giants have sold many experienced players such as Ivan Rakitic, Nelson Semedo, Arturo Vidal and in addition to selling these experienced players the club have swapped Arthur Melo to Juventus for Miralem Pjanic.
Even though the club has sold players over the last few months they are struggling to sign the club’s transfer targets. The Catalan giants have shown interest to sign players such as Neymar, Lautaro Martinez, Memphis Depay and Georginio Wijnaldum. However, no official offers have been submitted by Ronald Koeman and Barca’s board in order to sign these players till now.
Barca should try to sell Neto.
Ronald Koeman should try to sell the 31 year old Brazilian goalkeeper over the next few weeks in order to raise more funds to sign players over the summer transfer window. Neto has only been played in 5 games in the 2019-2020 season and many believe as Barca should try to give Inaki Pena a chance to play as a backup keeper to Marc-Andre ter Stegen instead of Neto who is nearing the end of his career.
Alternatively, the Spanish club should try to establish a loan deal with an obligation to sign the Brazilian goalkeeper or try to include him in swap deal to reduce the price required to sign the clubs transfer targets.
Do you think Barca should try to sell Neto?
