Manchester United’s special plan for Barcelona superstar
Manchester United keen on securing Barcelona star on loan.
Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele could be on his way out as Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a loan move for the winger. Luis Suarez has already reportedly joined Atletico Madrid with Arturo Vidal leaving after signing a deal with Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan. Ivan Rakitic also joined Sevilla earlier last month. The Spanish side are really planning for a major rebuild and the former Borussia Dortmund star could be next.

Dembele signed for Barca in 2017 from Bundesliga for a fee of 103 million euros. The La Liga giants made the French international their second most expensive signing of all time by paying that price tag. But after failing to impress after suffering multiple injury issues, United are adamant about wanting to loan Dembele this summer, according to Sport.
This deal may be a little tough to execute as the newly appointed coach Ronald Koeman is a big fan of the winger. The 23-year-old has suffered a ton of injuries since his arrival and he has not been able to justify his price tag. Many might even label him as a flop signing. However, the Dutch manager has reportedly vowed to bring the winger back to his best. Koeman is reportedly heavily focusing on improving the winger’s current conditions and bring him back to his very best that we witnessed in The Signal Iduna Park.
According to multiple reports, the Premier League are eyeing a loan move for the 23-year-old while the Catalan giants are comfortable getting a 100 million euros for him, which is the price they will sell him for. United’s Ed Woodward has reportedly inquired about the French winger but the Catalans were reportedly quick to reject him and inform him that they will only sell for 100 million euros.
The Red Devils will not be comfortable paying that price because they would have apparently paid that same price for Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho. Despite Dembele’s average performances he’s still valued at such a high price because Barca does not want to suffer a loss on his sale. He is still 23 hence the market value is fairly justified.
United will need to pay the amount to land the former Bundesliga winger if they are interested in solving their right-wing problems this summer as a loan deal will never finalize with Koeman having Dembele in his plans.
