Lionel Messi’s mercurial goal-scoring prowess needs no introduction. He is the all-time top goal-scorer at Barcelona by a country-mile and his record is only set to extend with more seasons at the Camp Nou. The Argentina international is a complete package even when it comes to scoring and has grabbed all kinds of goals.

At this point in time, Messi needs to score just ten more to beat Pele’s record of 643 for one club and he is certain to do that. Considering that the Brazilian legend set his number in a time that had relatively easier rules and in a league of not as great prominence, Messi will be hailed supreme in terms of figuration and statistics.
