Ronald Koeman of Barcelona offers Riqui Puig three options to leave the club this summer as the manager believes there is no place for him in the squad

It has not been long since Ronald Koeman wanted Riqui Puig to go out on loan this summer. The former Everton manager has already shown the door to a few players at Barcelona including Luis Suarez, Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic, and Nelson Semedo. Koeman is willing to trim his squad down a little further provided the board gets him his signings.

With Nelson Semedo completing his move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League. The Catalans have reportedly found his replacement in Ajax Amsterdam’s 19-year-old Sergino Dest and it has been reported by Fabrizio Romano that the deal has gone through.

Ronald Koeman is now awaiting the arrival of Memphis Depay of Olympique Lyon and Gini Wijnaldum of Liverpool that will then complete the squad that he demanded before he took over the role.

The Blaugrana are set to host Villarreal this evening at the Camp Nou, however, it has been reported that Riqui Puig will not be handed a start as the manager prefers playing Sergio Busquets and Frenkie de Jong as his two holding midfielder in the 4-2-3-1 formation.

Riqui Puig will be on the bench and the fans could expect a short cameo appearance from the Spaniard in the second half.

It has now been reported by the El Desmarque that Ronald Koeman has made it crystal clear to Riqui Puig about his future in this squad and has offered him three options.
