The youngster who plays primarily as a right-winger scored nine goals and provided 13 assists last season. He has a powerful left foot and he is not afraid to let out a shot from distance. With good dribbling skills and a powerful physical presence, there is no wonder the Catalans picked him up for a sizable fee of 31 million euros. The ex-Braga man is a very versatile player as well who can give Koeman many options. He said in his interview that Koeman had asked him to play in the same way as he always has. He continued by saying,
"“He talks to me a lot and what he asks me the most is to be myself, to face and try to score goals. In short, let me do my job. I am a young footballer who still has to improve in all aspects, who has to analyze his games and who has to see what he is doing well and what he is doing wrong to evolve.”Source La Vanguardia"
With the transfer drama considering Ousmane Dembele, it is quite a relief that the La Liga giants have another player they can rely upon, and hopefully this time their transfers will work out for the better. They might also have Memphis Depay on the way which will also be a huge boost for the team.
