Barcelona wonderkid, Ansu Fati, hails Lionel Messi for his support.

Ansu Fati showed the world a brilliant performance in the first match of Barcelona’s La Liga season. The youngster registered two goals in a 4-0 victory against Villarreal. This also meant that Ronald Koeman got his first win of the season and he can only hope for more of the same in the future. The season got off to a good start and it seems as if Fati and Lionel Messi have really bonded which can mean great things for the Spaniard’s future.

This shows that the club has immense faith in the 17-year-old and he’s repaying the faith with good performances. Koeman heaped praises upon the player saying,

It seems like Messi has also influenced the forward a lot as he said in the post-match interview,

This is exactly what the club needed, a legend like Messi mentoring a homebred talent who may go on to fill in his boots once he retires. Should Fati keep performing like the way he did in the last match, there is no doubt that he can go on to become one of Barcelona’s greatest of all time.
