Juventus get in touch with a lethal winger from Barcelona for a possible transfer
Barcelona was all set to sign Memphis Depay from Olympique Lyon on the transfer deadline day. The Sporting Director of the Ligue 1 side even stated that the 26-year-old winger could possibly sign for Barca in the next few hours. However, the move did not go through due to one particular player from the Camp Nou.

The new La Liga rule states that to new a player in the transfer market, the club must first sell a player from their squad that shares the same position. Ousmane Dembele was the one that Ronald Koeman wanted to ax in favor of his compatriot, Memphis Depay.
The 23-year-old French winger was close to signing for Manchester United, however, the plug was pulled off last minute as the former Dortmund man reconsidered his possible switch. Dembele’s last-minute decision has seen Ronald Koeman lose out on his wanted man.
Ousmane Dembele’s last-minute call has certainly not gone down well at Barca nor at Manchester United. Having said that, El Desmarque reports that the French forward has now contacted Juventus for a possible transfer this coming winter transfer market or in the summer of 2021.
The Bianconeri have confirmed the departure of Douglas Costa on a loan to Bayern Munich as Andrea Pirlo had no intention to work with the Brazilian left-winger. With Costa’s departure, Pirlo considers Ousmane Dembele to be the ideal man to cover the empty spot.
It is yet to be seen whether this move will go through or not. This is not the first time that Ousmane Dembele has been linked with Juventus as he been linked with the Italian club on several occasions. The Frenchman is on contract with Barca until 2022, thus cashing in on him next summer seems to be an ideal opportunity.
