In 2013, under Tata Martino’s tenure as the club manager, Adama Traore was promoted to the senior team. However, Traore’s stint at the senior team last for just two seasons and was then sold to Aston Villa in search of more minutes.
Since then, there has been no looking back for the Spanish international who has now grown into one of the most lethal wingers in the Premier League under Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers.
At Wolves, the Catalan-born winger taken the English top-flight by a storm due to his physical built that makes it impossible to disposes him and the electrifying pace that makes it nearly impossible to get past him.
With his rise to fame in the Premier League, the 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a return to Barca. However, GOAL reports that the winger has ruled out a potential move, claiming that a return to the club is not in his hands. It has also been reported that Adama Traore is close friends with Ansu Fati and the pair together discusses quite a lot about Barca.
A return to the Camp Nou would certainly be welcomed by the fans as Adama Traore brings more to the table than just pace. At the age of 24, the player can still work on his skill and develop into a finer player before making the big jump back to Barca. Do you think Traore should return someday?
