Luis Suarez makes a stunning revelation over the Lionel Messi saga
Barcelona’s summer was full of news regarding Lionel Messi. Luis Suarez has now spilled some more beans regarding the Argentine.
Barcelona had a subpar summer transfer window that saw them land only Sergino Dest and Miralem Pjanic, despite selling some of their best players like Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic and Luis Suarez. One of the chief reasons behind that was the fact that Lionel Messi occupied practically the entire transfer window with his transfer request.

Messi was fed up with the way the club was being run and as a result, he opted in favour of wanting to leave Barcelona. However, disputes over his release meant that there would have been a legal intervention and with the Argentina international not wanting to take the club of his lifetime to court, he decided to stay on for at least one more year.
However, it is still clear that he is not happy with the way the team is being handled and will surely be unhappy at the end of yet another pathetic transfer window. Besides on-field matters, the player will also be distraught about his best friend Luis Suarez having been kicked out. The Uruguay international has now made a sensational revelation.
Luis Suarez has stated that the Blaugrana board has always been the reason behind Messi’s resentment and his wishes of wanting to leave were at the back of a string of horrible decisions. As per Goal, Messi is set for an extended stay at the Camp Nou provided a change in directorial matters up top.
Josep Maria Bartomeu is likely to vacate his position as the president at the end of this year because all signs are pointing towards the election of Joan Laporta or Victor Font. With that said, there is a big enough likelihood that the Barcelona chief is forced out much earlier amid talks of a potential vote of no confidence against him.
For how much longer do you think Messi will be at the club?
