Barcelona should assess the option to loan Riqui Puig
Barcelona must focus on the January transfer window.
Barcelona have an exceptional squad with a lot of depth in nearly every position on the field. This leads to a lack of game-time and minutes many players get to play over the course of the whole season. This in turn leads to tampering with the growth of the young and developing players in the squad.
The Catalan giants have many young players such as Ansu Fati, Francisco Trincao, Riqui Puig, and Ronald Araujo who are still developing their skills in Barca this season. Even though some of these players can play in the Barca ‘B’ team many believe that Ronald Koeman should loan them out to other teams to further develop their skills.
Riqui Puig should leave the Camp Nou on a loan deal

The 21-year-old Spaniard has been developing into an exceptional player who has worked his way up into the first team of Barca ever since he joined the Spanish side in the 2013-2014 season.
However, Puig has failed to attain a sufficient amount of game time last season where he played in 11 games across all competitions.
Despite receiving insufficient game-time the Spaniard is not interested to leave Camp Nou this season. He’s confident that Ronald Koeman will give minutes to play this season which could help him prove his potential as well as potentially get a chance to play in the upcoming UEFA Euro 2020 cup.
On the contrary to what Puig feels, many believe that Ronald Koeman isn’t interested in playing the midfielder on a consistent basis this season.
Puig should leave Barca on loan or on a swap deal in the January transfer window if he is unable to receive sufficient minutes under Ronald Koeman in Barca this season.
Do you think Barcelona should loan Riqui Puig in the upcoming season?
