Barcelona took to Twitter after their victory over Juventus.

A friendly banter session followed on Twitter between the official handles of Barcelona and Juventus following Ronald Koeman’s win at Turin. The Catalans beat a Juventus side that missed Cristiano Ronaldo 2-0 as they landed two wins in two games in the UEFA Champions League group stages.

More from Everything Barca

Andrea Pirlo’s Juventus played against the Catalans last night, losing by 2 goals to nil. They were without their main man Ronaldo as the former Real Madrid star is still positive for the coronavirus, even after a second test. The 35-year-old tested positive two times in the last month and is probably going to miss a few more games in Serie A. The former Manchester United man already missed a couple of more games including the tie against his former rivals.

The Catalans won at Turin and the Barca Twitter handle trolled Cristiano, engaging in some friendly banter. This game was originally a build-up to another Lionel Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo saga but the latter missed the game.

Ronaldo, however, posted himself being completely fit on Instagram and he ended up abusing the PCR test in the comments too. The 35-year-old claimed that he was completely fit and he is being forced to stay out.

Meanwhile, Messi scored Barcelona’s second goal of the night in the 90th minute. The magician took a penalty to make it 2-0 to add to their previous lead and call it a night. On missing the game and his team losing it, Ronaldo will have to wait until December for the second-leg to face his rival.

But Barca Twitter page used his victory to take some shots at the former United winger by letting the Italian side know that they at least got to see the “GOAT” Lionel Messi.

However, the fans will be looking forward to the second leg of this same fixture as Ronaldo will probably be back in the squad by then. The player and the fans must be extremely enthralled by Cristiano’s latest fitness updates as the Portuguese looks extremely fit and healthy.
