Ajax’s Ryan Gravenberch has been on Barcelona radars for quite a while. The youngster is now being termed as the most promising prospect from Ajax. The Dutch club have always continuously and consistently produced young talents that go on to impress almost every big club in Europe.

As of now, according to Mirror, even Manchester United have reportedly joined the race for Gravenberch. They will be looking to land the youngster in the winter or in the summer transfer window. Both United and Barca are rebuilding their squads under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and Ronald Koeman respectively, and the Ajax youngster will be a fantastic addition to their respective squads especially during such uncomfortable times at the two clubs.
The youngster has already made 19 appearances for Ajax and scored a few goals and even provided a few assists. He has really caught the eye of European giants. Ryan was already under the radar of Barcelona and Juventus but now Ajax are getting ready for another negotiation battle with Premier League clubs as both United and Liverpool have feigned interest in the player.
Pundits and experts have already identified the player’s style which looks to be extremely similar to United and France’s Paul Pogba. Ajax have already sold their own Donny van de Beek to the Red Devils for a fee of 45 million euros this summer, and it will not come as a surprise if the Manchester side succeeds in landing Gravenberch.
It would be a fantastic move for the youngster at this ripe age if he decides to move to the Premier League or La Liga. Playing for top teams at such a young age nourishes youngsters to go on to be one of the game’s finest and that is what will be expected of Gravenberch.
