The Dutch manager signed a two-year deal with Barcelona.
Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman answered a number of questions during his press conference prior to the team’s clash against Alaves.
Among the flurry of questions was whether or not he was concerned or not about his future given the resignation of former Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu and the rest of his board.

According to Sport, Koeman said he was not worried about his future as manager and that he is not going to pick a side during the upcoming elections.
He continued and said the situation was out of his hands and he is only concentrating on his role as manager and trying to help the club win games and titles.
"“If my situation changes in any way, I hope that I am told about it. We want to gain better results and improve the way we play. That is what we are putting all of our efforts into doing. Everything outside of that is out of our control.”Source: Goal"
With Bartomeu and company on their last year at the helm, Koeman took a risk in accepting the job as the next president could appoint their own manager.
Victor Font, considered one of the frontrunners to win the presidency, stated that Xavi Hernandez would become the next Barca manager regardless of how well the team performed under Koeman.
So far, the Catalan side have had their ups-and-downs including losing the first clasico of the season at home against Real Madrid.
For now, all Koeman can do is exactly what he said. Focus on the present and continue to try to improve the club. Hope the results will reflect that improvement and that they can finish the season with some silverware. The rest is out of his hands.
