Lionel Messi Desires A Positive Relationship With Ronald Koeman
Things got off to a rocky start with the new manager as news spread like a wildfire that there was an ongoing power struggle between the player and the manager. Things looked worse when Messi took a public jab at the way Koeman and the board of directors removed Luis Suarez from the club. The Argentine vilified their decision and it seemed as if their relationship would not get better. This is, however, not the case as Koeman explained. The Dutch manager said that Messi is in fact quite happy at Barcelona and he is showing a lot of dedication on the pitch. Messi has already scored 6 goals this season among all competitions and he might be persuaded to stay if his relationship with the manager becomes better, which would only happen if the squad wins consistently.
