Barcelona are currently coming 8th in the La Liga.

Barcelona were able to  dominate Real Betis in their last La Liga match winning the game with a score line of 5-2 in which Lionel Messi scored a brace and the trio of Ousmane Dembele, Pedri and Antoine Griezmann all got one goal to their name.

Despite the fact the Spanish giants have a long season ahead of them in which the club will focus on attaining as much silverware as possible many believe that the Catalan giants won’t be able to use many of their budding players which can hinder their growth and might damage the players development. The club should opt to send these young developing players out on loan to help them grow.

Carles Alena has not featured in any league matches this season.

The young 22 year old Spanish international Carles Alena should push to leave the Camp Nou on a loan deal. This is because the midfielder has struggled to attain any game time this season and has only been able to play for the last 7 minutes in the Champions League game against Dynamo Kiev.

Ronald Koeman should opt to loan the 22 year old midfielder to a team in the La Liga or to another first tier leagues which will make him play football at the highest level which includes teams such as the Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga or the France Ligue 1.

If in the loan spell Carles Alena fails to impress the managers in the Camp Nou the club should opt to use the Spaniard in a swap deal as they did with Arthur Melo or sell him to raise funds to sign the other transfer targets of the club.
