Federico Fazio of A.S. Roma, Cheap Signing for Barcelona

Barcelona could also try a different approach to solving their problem. Instead of going for a younger established player, they could go down the route that Chelsea took, go for a solid veteran who can support the club for at least a year or so until they find a permanent solution. One of the players who can put himself in that spot is Roma’s, Federico Fazio. The 33-year-old has played in clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur as well as Sevilla before so he has a knowledge of top-flight football from three different Leagues. The player is currently out with the coronavirus but will surely be back by the winter transfer window and Barcelona must keep an eye out for this veteran, as he could be a cheap solution.
