Expected Barcelona starting lineup for match against Ferencvaros.

The packed schedule sees Barcelona once again playing midweek in the Champions League against Hungarian side, Ferencvaros.

The last time these two teams faced off, it was at the Camp Nou with the Catalans coming out with a convincing 5-1 result. On that occasion, manager Ronald Koeman fielded a strong side. This time, it might be a different story.

More from Everything Barca

Barcelona have already qualified for the next round of the Champions League. But they will surely still be looking to top their group to get a more favorable opponent in the knockout stage.

Because of the amount of games the club have to play, expect Koeman to heavily rotate his side and give certain players a rest.

It would not be a surprise if he once again decides to leave the likes of Lionel Messi back and give him a rest. Against Dynamo Kyiv, neither he or Frenkie de Jong made the trip to Ukraine.

Barcelona have a perfect record so far in the tournament, winning all four games. However, they are only three points ahead of Juventus in Group G.

Koeman will have some tough decisions to make considering some of the absences due to injury. Ferencvaros are the “weakest” team in the group but managed to give Juventus a tough time in their last match so they are not going to be pushovers.

But Koeman needs to manage his squad properly and is likely to opt for players who have not played as regularly as they would like and need minutes.
