The player came on as a second-half sub in Barcelona’s match against Cadiz.
Things were too good to be true for Barcelona and Ousmane Dembélé as the French forward picked up a new injury following the loss against Cadiz.

The Catalan side released a statement confirming that Dembélé suffered an “elongation in the hamstrings of his right thigh.”
The club did not give a timetable for his return, only stating that he will miss the game against Juventus.
According to Mundo Deportivo, this is the first injury Dembélé has suffered this season. However, it is the ninth injury of his Barcelona career.
The good news, for both him and the club, is this injury does not appear to be serious.
Sources close to the player believe he is set to miss around two to three weeks.
The frustrating part for the Frenchman is he appeared to have put his injuries behind him. He was playing more under Ronald Koeman and having a positive impact on the pitch. There were even talks that he and the club were going to sit down and start negotiating on a new contract.
While that may very still happen, it is another reminder to the club of his fragility since he arrived from Borussia Dortmund.
The problem for Koeman now is who replaces him. Philippe Coutinho has been picked ahead of him but the Brazilian has struggled and was subbed off in the Cadiz match at half-time. Pedri would be the logical choice but he could also look to Barça B’s Konrad de la Fuente.
With a packed schedule, rotation and options are going to be key as Barcelona now look to simply secure a Champions League spot for next season.
For Dembélé, assuming the timetable is correct, he is set to miss the next six games. One in the Champions League and five in La Liga.
