Barcelona may regret losing out on such a talented scout coach. The Spanish coach has been with the Blaugranas for the last six years of his career and losing such a talented coach especially to the club’s biggest rival must be a really hard pill to swallow for the officials at the Nou Camp. However, they have received the coach’s service over the last six years so they should be satisfied with what he has achieved with the club. Xavier will now head to Real Madrid as his former destination, The Mestalla, did not look to be a viable option.
According to various reports, Valencia chairman Peter Lim had reportedly persuaded Xavier but it all did not go to plan with the Spaniard now on his way to the Spanish capital to work and show his scouting skills for the Los Blancos.
