Another center-back that the Spanish giants can go for is Arsenal’s Shkodran Mustafi. While he will not be an ideal replacement for Pique, he is still just 28 and could be a great temporary replacement. It is much like what Chelsea did with Thiago Silva but Mustafi will have a few more years to give. He would be extremely cheap as well and he has barely made any appearances for Arsenal this season so he would be willing to move to Spain as well.
