Another player who has not managed to impact the club much is Miralem Pjanic. The 30-year-old midfielder has made only 3 starts so far in La Liga and it does not look like he is one that the manager will rely too much on.

Pjanic was quite a bizarre transfer made by the previous president, Josep Maria Bartomeu. The 30-year-old was brought in from Juventus via a swap deal for Arthur and while Barcelona did make some money off of the deal, it was not a good idea to let go of a young player for someone who was entering his thirties.

Pjanic only has a few years left and it can be said with conviction that he was a very strange and unnecessary transfer. He has not made a mark at the club and Koeman will not be using him regularly anytime soon. It is best to sell him off as the club has younger players who will benefit from more chances and will become the future of the club.
