One of the biggest transfers in Barcelona history has been one of the biggest flop as well. Antoine Griezmann who was brought in from Atletico Madrid in 2019 for a massive fee of 120 million euros has been a big disappointment.

When he was brought in from their league rivals, he was at an all-time high. He had just scored 21 goals in the previous season and had also won the Fifa World Cup with France. He had helped his country lift the world’s most prestigious sports trophy and his form was phenomenal.

However, after the much-anticipated transfer, he went through a very tough first season. At one point he even admitted that he did not have the confidence to shoot. His form has not gotten much better since then and he is struggling in this season as well.

Although the French forward will have a brilliant game occasionally, the Catalans must accept that the transfer was a failure and it is better to sell him now before his value plunges any further.
