Toni Freixa

The last candidate, Toni Freixa, is full in on project Espai Barca and is against new bonds and the involvement of any third party corporate entities. He does not want any company to come in and claim part of the club’s assets and thus he wishes to raise all the money organically through the new stadium.

Freixa reckons that the club will see revenue in the range of 900 million euros after the stadium has been completed, this will surely help with the debt. However, for short term plans, he believes that a massive wage restructuring must be conducted. He claims that the previous management was reckless and that a shocking plan must be implemented with drastic changes immediately. While the candidate is also supportive of innovative forms of income, his main focus is the new stadium and in his opinion, it must be completed as soon as possible.

Which of these candidates do you want to see as Barca’s next president?
