The financial state at football club Barcelona will not allow the club to make any more big money transfers for at least a few years.

More from Everything Barca

The new president must stabilize the budget, restructure the wages before thinking about adding new players to the roster. This leaves the club in a tricky situation as they had appointed a new manager at the beginning of the season but do not have the funds to provide him with the players they need.

However, the Catalans have one of the most prestigious youth academies in the world, La Masia. They have produced a lot of incredible players in the past and now Barcelona must look towards the youths again to rebuild their club.

Many criticized the famed academy for failing to produce talents in recent years. While some graduates were given chances, the club had shifted their focus from creating reinforcements to buying them.

After the sale of Neymar, the Catalan giants made many expensive signings that did not work out. Philippe Coutinho, Antoine Griezmann, and Ousmane Dembele have all struggled to bring the same success to the Nou Camp as they did to their previous clubs.

Slowly but surely, Barca have returned to their philosophy of relying on the youth instead of having to fight in the transfer market. Players like Riqui Puig, Ansu Fati, Oscar Mingueza, and Ilaix Moriba are some of the upcoming talents. The Catalans have also purchased some youngster like Ronald Araujo, Pedri, Konrad de la Fuente, Francisco Trincao, and Sergino Dest, who will surely look to be a regular at Camp Nou.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at the six youngsters who look the most promising.
