6 Barcelona youngsters to take over world football in 2021

#2 Pedri (Age: 18 | Midfield)

Another player who has shown a lot of promise is 18-year-old Pedri. The Spanish midfielder has stepped up since his first full ninety minutes against Real Betis. The versatile midfielder has played in every match in La Liga and has started in 14 of them. He already has two goals and two assists in the league.

His two most memorable moments in this season has to be his amazing defensive commitment in the match against Real Sociedad and his incredible assist to Lionel Messi, which helped the Argentine break Pele’s record. Overall the midfielder has shown great commitment and passion and he reminds people of a young Messi.

He has a tremendous work rate and can be seen in the attack as well as the defense. Along with that, he is continuously developing as a player and is even getting advice from Messi himself. His self-awareness is great and he can find a lot of good balls. He is definitely going to grow only better and could go on to become one of the best players in the club.
